SPORTS MEDICINE & LAMENESS

SURGERY
Offering elective and non-critical emergency surgical referrals at our fully updated surgical facility. With a complete array of surgical equipment, we are prepared for both soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. Currently we are offering arthroscopy/tenoscopy, laparoscopy, fracture repair, as well a variety of soft tissue surgeries. Our surgical laser is ideal for both neoplastic and non-neoplastic mass removals.
DIAGNOSTIC LABORATORY
At Petaluma Equine, we have in-house diagnostic equipment that allows us to provide many routine diagnostics such as complete blood counts and chemistry panels immediately, improving patient care. Local veterinarians, we also offer a referring veterinarian pricing. Please call to inquire.
INTERNSHIPS & EXTERNSHIPS
Petaluma Equine will admit one veterinary intern for the 2021/2022 year. To inquire further about our program and to apply, please email us using the link below and make sure to include a letter of intent and CV.
Petaluma Equine offers an externship program to veterinary students who are in their 3rd or 4th year of vet school. Externships are available throughout the year and are limited to two weeks. Please email us using the link below to inquire about availability.
