Marie Leduc-Huot was born and raised in a small town south in the province of Quebec, Canada. Growing up, she had horses at home and she spent a lot of time with her father who is also a veterinarian. Being a hunter/jumper rider, most of her summers were spent competing at horse shows. She also spent 2 summers as a working student for Millar Brook farm and Canadian olympic rider Ian Millar. Her passion for horses led her to start a small breeding program at her family’ farm and now has 3 foals. Dr. Leduc-Huot received her Doctor of Veterinary Medecine degree from Université de Montréal in Canada. In 2022/2023 Dr. Leduc-Huot did her internship here at Petaluma Equine. Following her internship, she decided to stay on here as an associate veterinarian.
In addition to veterinary medicine, Dr. Leduc-Huot enjoys spending time with her dog, road cycling, horse riding and outdoor activities.
